GAME FARM AND LODGE
ABOUT
The farm was purchased in December 2014 and was it quickly realized how much peace and tranquility it brought from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city life. It soon became a haven for family and friends, only a short drive from Pretoria, to come rest and recharge in the majestic Water Mountains.
The farm was further developed and various species of game and exotic game was introduced. Some of the species include Blue and Golden Wildebeest, Blesbuck, normal and Black Impala, Kudu, Waterbuck, Nyalas, Springbuck, Duiker and Bushbuck.
The building of the lodge started in December 2015 and has ever since been expanded on and improvements made to ensure that its guests will experience a memorable stay.
The farm and its facilities has recently been made available to the public so they too can experience the fun and tranquility of Lewensdroom game farm and lodge’.
OUR ACCOMMODATION
The lodge up on a hill and has a beautiful view over the valley and Water Mountains. It has a full kitchen, bar, pool table, arcade games, DSTV, jukebox, swimming pool, trampoline and huge private enclosed boma area.
It can easily host up to 40 people but sleeps 30 in the six private en-suite rooms, two family rooms which sleeps six each and one large room with six beds, ideal for friends sharing.

NOTE: The farm can only be booked at a minimum of 12 people and for a minimum of two nights per stay.
ACTIVITIES
Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails
​
Mountain Biking trails for the mountain biker and marked trails set out for the adventurous walker.
Boma / Fire Pit
Enclosed Boma / Fire Pit for those cold evenings or just to admire the sparkles of the burning fire.
Fishing and canoeing
Own private dam for catch and release and canoeing.
Daily Housekeeping
Daily cleaning of rooms and communal areas available upon prior request.
Pool
Large pool for those hot days.
Main Entertainment Area

Consists of fully equipped kitchen, bar, pool table, arcade games, DSTV and jukebox.

Guided Game Drives available upon request.
Guided Hunting of Game
Whilst the farm is utilized mainly for the breeding of game, do we need to hunt some animals during the winter season. Please inquire well in advance as only a certain amount of hunts are available.
Aventura Bela-Bela
Situated within Bela-Bela and 28km from Lewensdroom, Aventura is for the adventurous youngster - fun, water and sun.
Loebies Predator Park
Visit the Lion Park to see and hear the roar of rehabilitated lions and other predators.
Look Out Point
Majestic and breathtaking views of the whole Lodge can be admired while sipping on your sun downer at the latest edition to the Lodge. Within walking distance from the Main Entertainment Area at the Lodge.
Horse Riding
Within 12km drive from the Lodge. Please inquire well in advance for more information.
Golf Courses
There are several well known Golf Courses in our area which makes it an ideal destination for a golf tour.
Elements Golf Course: The golf course is an unsurpassed Peter Matkovich design. Elements Private Golf Reserve has been rated in the Top 30 Golf Courses of South Africa for the last 10 years. Taking in all the natural surroundings, this is not only a game of golf but a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The golf course is just the excuse needed to get out there and enjoy it. Within a 15km drive from the Lodge.
Also enjoy a round at Zebula Golf Course and Koro Creek which is also close by.
